Belinda Sherlock

I am a creative and embodied psychotherapist working with adults and teenagers. My approach is integrative, so I collaborate with you to discover which creative, body-based and/or talking tools might best meet your needs.
Belinda Sherlock

I support people to draw on their own well of wisdom, grow in their self-compassion, get to know their nervous systems better, feel more connected to themselves and others, and explore the different roles, cultural systems and spaces they occupy in the world.

Clients approach me to work through trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, or feeling stuck, low or dissatisfied in some way in their lives. I work in a trauma-responsive way, prioritising a client’s sense of safety, and taking time to build an authentic, trusting and therapeutic relationship.

Alongside private practice, I have 9 years’ experience as a therapist in the NHS, specialising in adult forensic mental health, and in schools, PRUs, refuges and community settings. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor working with therapists and creative practitioners, a workshop and training facilitator, and a doctoral researcher.
