Some important Information

Facilities available for The Practice at The Angel Islington

Client access to the counselling psychotherapy rooms is via an intercom at the street door and door bell to the practice.

The practice is run to facilitate 50 minute counselling and psychotherapy sessions so that practitioners can then be available to answer the intercom to their arriving clients. Whilst there is a waiting area there is no reception.

There is a unisex toilet and hand washing facility for exclusive use by clients and practitioners.

The kitchen has facilities for the making of hot and cold drinks with tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. There is a small area for practitioners to sit and eat. There are numerous cafes, restaurants and take away places in the area.

There is a store room available for the use by practitioners. Art materials, sand trays, etc. can be stored between bookings. A flip chart stand is available.

Comfortable stacking chairs are provided for group and training bookings.

The practice has wireless internet access which should provide sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing (skype and Zoom).

Access to the practice is by voice intercom allowing practitioners to identify clients before allowing access, there is then a secure door at which the client can be identified before entering the practice area.

Practitioners have a key to the street door and a unique access code to enter the practice (a deposit is required at the time of booking for this key).

There is no lift in the premises, and as the practice is on the second floor, disabled access is restricted.
